90-05 Miata Stage 2 Plug and Play Sound System

Our amazing stage 2 sound system, now in an easy to install, plug and play kit! Everything is pre-assembled and ready to drop in. 

Our stage 2 system was engineered in collaboration with Kicker, to bring you the best audio in the NA/NB chassis, without sacrificing any space! No trunk or footwell space consumed, and both seats can still travel and recline all the way back.*

Our system starts with a 1320 Watt (660 rms) Kicker 5 channel amp, to power both subwoofers, a pair of 6.5" KS speakers in the panel, and another pair of 6.5" KS speakers in the doors. A pair of 8" Kicker free-air subs mounted right behind the seats deliver serious low end and kick. While the 100W KS series coaxial speakers fil the cabin with enough volume to hear your music crisp and clear- even at freeway speeds with the top down. 

The kit includes a plug and play wiring harness, so there's no splicing, tracing or guessing with wires. Simply plug one end into your head unit (not included) and the other into the amplifier. 

Systems work with any rollbar that mounts outside of the seat belt towers. (Does not work with Harddog Ace or Duece bars)

* Depending on the seat installed. Some aftermarket race seats and certain well-worn OEM seats that have deformed may have limits of range, depending on mounting configurations. 

What's the difference between the Stage 1 and Stage 2 systems?

The Stage 1 system has a mono channel amp for the subwoofers, and lets the head unit power the rear speakers, and door speakers. This produces the following output

Subs – 300 Watts

Door speakers – 15-25 watts (depending on head unit)

Rear speakers – 15-25 watts (depending on head unit)

The Stage 2 system uses a 5 channel amp, that powers the entire car. The head unit only supplies pre-amp outputs to the system. We pair this system with different door and rear speakers, which are able to handle more power.

Subs – 300 Watts

Door speakers – 65 watts

Rear speakers – 65 watts

The Stage 2 kit is available as a DIY kit (all the pieces are there, but you have to assemble everything) or, a plug and play system, where everything including the wiring is pre-assembled, and just needs plugged in. no cutting, splicing, or chasing wires around.
